PRAGUE STOCHASTICS 2006

Time flies. It already was an event 4 years ago while I shared good memories with my friends in Europe @ 2002. Now, it comes again and the program will be held in Prague, the city filling with smell of romantic mood and full of charm.

PRAGUE STOCHASTICS 2006

A joint session of 7th Prague Symposium on Asymptotic Statistics and 15th Prague Conference on Information Theory, Statistical Decision Functions and Random Processes, next in a series of international conferences on stochastics organised in Prague since 1956, will be held in Prague, 21-25 August 2006, under the auspices of the Bernoulli Society for Mathematical Statistics and Probability.

The meeting will be organised by Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics of Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University and Department of Stochastic Informatics of Institute of Information and Automation of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

The scientific programme will be aimed at covering a wide range of stochastics, with special emphasis on the topics of this lively field which have been pursued in Prague. The meeting will be held at a new conference venue in a beautifully reconstructed building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in the very heart of the historical Prague City Centre.
