曾經聽過一個小故事﹕一位才華洋溢的提琴手，在一次公開首演後得到全場觀眾的掌聲。人人都說他是天才，是未來提琴界的天之驕子。
他聽罷很是失望，說道﹕「天才﹖我每天苦練十四小時，當每人都在上班、上學、玩樂和睡覺的時候，我都在日以繼夜的練習。你們一句天才，就抹煞了我十多年的努力﹖我不是天才!」

是的, 看著他人的成就, 世人每每以天才, 幸運之言詞類冠之! 相比較之, 人少不了也怨天尤人, 什麼時不予我, 什麼沒有機緣等言語! 我相信成功沒有僥倖, 幸運之神也袛眷顧那些曾付出過的人, 天才背後也有其不為人道的辛酸, 既要花時間去妒嫉他人的豐碩成就,何不為自己而努力現在? 我不是天才, 唯有將勤補拙, 唉 ~

In the music field, there are many who practice long hours. However, everyone have only 24 hours a day. No one can practice much more than others. So, in the end, among this group, only those who have talent stand out.
那些人不是不明白，而是不願意去面對。於是，繼續怨。
愛美: 我唔係天才也不想被取笑為蠢才,所以唯有將勤補拙,若然補極仲係咁拙??? 呀?呀?呀? 咁重有我與你作伴，再搵多個，就可以叻過諸葛亮啦．都唔錯架，哈哈哈 :D
Ruth: It's understanding that some pp always outperform the majority when same input/effort was contributed, here I just want to highlight a point that even those gifted, they need hard work as well practice. We may not be gifted but hard work is always the key to success. :)

The music field is highly competitive. It really takes genius to be successful as a world class performer. Haven't heard his performance and can't comment whether he's world class.
I believe all performers have talent and work hard. However, it really takes genius to be outstanding. That's how I feel when listening to Yundi Li the first time.
Also, When you listen to Arthur Rubenstein, you will know genius is genius. God does create genius, who are different from just gifted or talented people.
Working hard is a given to be succesful in this world, whether in music field or others.
