Michael Chang joined the professional tennis academy at the 15 years of age. In 1989, Michael won at the French Open at the age of 17 and it caught the recognition from the whole world. Michael never looks down on any type of tennis competitions and would play it with his most effort, on the field winning a lot of awards. Further, in ATP, Michael became the 1st Asian tennis player ranking at the top 10. In addition, Michael has later become ranking at No.2 in the World List Record.

Michael grew up in a Christian family. He came to know Jesus Christ since he was a child. At the age of 16, Michael was baptized and became a member of the church. In all the athletic competitions, Michael learned to be humble before God and believed that all results were turned out from God. He also believes that God has planned him to serve over the world after equipping him through the tennis playing. Giving testimony has become an important part of his life, to let all the people know that, Jesus has changed him and fulfilled his life greatly.
