I never dare to go to such exhibition. Knowledge is something that can't be un-done. When I know it, I know it. That's why I choose not to know.
I would like to know though it's not pleasant. To be knowledgable or ignorant is a matter of choice.
To me, history is a fact that we should know and learn as well. Sure the depth of knowledge varies from one to others. But the fact is we never learn from history and replicate what they did before. How ridiculous it is?
Knowing the hard facts is okay for me. What I don't dare is to drill on the details. I can't stand those terrible scenes keep coming up in my mind.
As mentioned, somehow it's a bit heavy topic for us and the acceptance varies from one to other. You know such incident happened, that’s enough. For details? It depends your interest. I wouldn't go even there is an exhibition recently focusing on this topic.
Human history always repeats itself and man will never learn from their mistakes. It depends on whether we live in peaceful time or war time. Either way history is written in blood.
